Vineyard :several plots of 40 to 80 years. Clay and limestone, east-south-east exposure. Vatted for 10 to 12 days, aged in oak barrels. Very few new barrels.
Bottled after 15 to 18 months.
This vintage, obtained from old vines, offers very complex notes where red fruits and spices mingle.
The many small-sized bunches, very rich in "millerand" (small berries), give the wine a nice depth and an unsuspected capacity to defy time. Superb with game or ripened cheeses.
